Ceremony description:

Winter solstice (Yule) is one of the oldest celebrations in the world! The shortest day, but also the marking of a time when the light slowly begins to return to the earth. We have been through a cycle of death and darkness. This is to be celebrated, and now we move on to re-birth.

It is a time to honour both the light and the darkness, the blessings and the lessons, the maiden and the crone, that resides within each of us.

The ceremony will be held in the wonderful historic energy of Delapre Abbey which I am very excited about.

I love adding a theme for my ceremonies and it is totally optional if you chose to follow it, but the theme is winter God/Goddess.

What can I expect?

~ We begin by joining in circle and speaking about some of the lessons we have learned this year, sharing what has happened in our dark phase, as we come into an energy of acceptance, not fear.
~ We take a moment to relax with an amazing meditation cutting the cords to things we want to release and calling our energy back.
~ We join together with with a solstice herbal tea and sound vibration to welcome the healing of  deep relaxation into our bodies giving ourselves a chance to re-centre.
~ We delve deep into candle magick and colour therapy discovering how the flames and colours can aid us in manifesting and intention setting.

~ To end we join together as we fully celebrate our year, our wins our amazing journey.
