Although there is an aspect of ourselves that is unchanged as we grow and age, we also become completely different people at so many points throughout the journey of our lives. Imagine if all those transitional moments were always celebrated with ceremony — imagine how that would infuse our days with presence, awareness and meaning!

I am always honoured to celebrate and help guide people through different rites of passage and important moments in their lives.  Sometimes we need a little support and guidance to mark the passage from what has been to what is becoming.

My ceremonies are intuitively created and designed to draw together both modern and ancient ways of celebrating, in ritual and with the elements. I create a deeply healing and connective container to hold all your amazing energy, transmute any lower vibrational energies and give you a transformative, truly heart led, rejuvenating group experience.

Below are some common ceremonies that you may have heard of, but really, a ceremony can be created for just about anything.

Mother Blessing (baby shower)

The modern baby shower is great for setting you up with lots of nappies and onesies but they don’t really address the amazing rite of passage that is also occurring: a mother is about to be born (and she is going to work her butt off to get there.) Mother Blessings celebrate, honor and bolster the mum-to-be, as she prepares for the intense and amazing journey of birth. We share our blessings with the mum-to-be, we love her up and nurture her, we gather in a sacred circle with our best people, we call upon our lineage and all the women that have crossed this threshold before us. Mother Blessings bring your community together in a sacred way. Food may be shared, but most importantly, wisdom, courage, and good energy are shared. (I must add: a mother blessing can also be a mum and mum blessing, a mum and dad blessing, a dad and dad blessing, and a parent blessing.  This is a non-gendered, all are celebrated and welcomed, high vibrational energy bestowing moment!)

Wedding Blessing (Hen/ Stag Party)

This is a completely different take on the traditional ‘Hen Party’. The modern way is to get absolutely trashed and really not remember much. With this ceremony you are guaranteed to remember, in all the best most wonderful ways. A truly transformational change, a beautiful spiritual commitment from single to married, wife to husband, wife to wife, husband to husband. Wedding blessings celebrate, honour and bolster you as you share in the most sacred celebration of true love. We gather in a sacred circle with our best people, we call upon our lineage and all the people that have crossed this threshold before us. Food may be shared, but most importantly, wisdom, courage, kind words and good energy are shared. This is a non-gendered, all are celebrated and welcomed, high vibrational energy bestowing moment!)

Birthday Blessing (1-1 or group)

A blessing completely designed to celebrate you, every single beautiful element of you. To honour your previous year. You have come so far, grown so much and shed many tears and blocks. Now is the time to reset, to embrace your whole self and to show yourself true loving awareness. Your birthday ritual will be a beautiful ceremony encompassing your natal chart and deep inner workings. It involves a wide range of ceremonial and energetic materials to bring about a deeply immersive journey with the past, present and future self.

(The purpose of rituals is) to end, for a time, our sense of human alienation from nature and from each other. Ritual seems to be one method of reintegrating individuals and groups into the cosmos, and to tie in the activities of daily life with their ever present, often forgotten, significance. It allows us to feel biological connectedness with ancestors who regulated their lives and activities according to seasonal observances. Just as ecological theory explains how we are interrelated with all other forms of life, rituals allow us to re-create that unity in an explosive, nonabstract, gut-level way. Rituals have the power to reset the terms of our universe until we find ourselves suddenly and truly “at home.”
